Launching Mastermind PH
It’s funny, up until about six months ago, I had never actually heard of the term business mastermind. In 25+ years of being in business, I just never came across the concept. Not sure how I missed it.
For those of you who like me, hadn’t heard of the term business mastermind before, a mastermind group is a peer-to-peer mentoring concept used to help members solve their problems with input and advice from the other group members.
The concept was coined in 1925 by author Napoleon Hill described in more detail in his 1937 book, Think and Grow Rich. Find the book, the audiotape or do a google search. If you truly want to Think and Grow Rich, it all starts here!
Originally I set up a meetup group and a couple of events using the title Manila Quantum Mastermind.
My call to action was simply, “We are calling all Filipino Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Business Leaders, Movers and Shakers and Those of Influence in Metro Manila and across the Republic of the Philippines to come together to share knowledge, build partnerships and tackle problems to big to be addressed alone.”
I was pleasantly surprised too quickly have over 100 members join the meetup.
After several discussions with members of the group it has become pretty clear to me that there is a high level of interest in meet ups that offer practical, easy to implement business solutions to the ever growing number of small business owners and entrepreneurs in my adopted country, the Philippines.
Ironically, Entrepreneurship is a popular college course in Higher Education across the county, but even with the special focus, many fresh graduates and young professionals still need mentoring as they start their own businesses.
Six months into my endeavor to merge what I know from being an entrepreneur myself for 10 years, the small business success strategies I have learned from my mentor Bill Walsh and my peers in Powerteam International and what I have experienced having lived and done business in the Philippines most of the past decade, it is time to take the mastermind concept to the next level.
So we are now launching Mastermind PH

Now is the time to help empower others to be a mastermind leader, a small business consultant, an expert speaker and trainer or business coach with Powerteam International. https://www.ipowerteam.biz
Kicking off in January, we will host a series of meetups on topics like social media mastery, profit optimization, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and customer behavior influencers. Using the business mastermind as a guiding principle, these meet up will focus on how to set forth a Vision to Wealth for Filipino small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Participants will l earn specifically what it takes to build an even more successful company, connect with other like-minded business owners, and discover new ways to create revenue streams! At the event you will learn the UNTOLD SECRETS and proven concepts that successful entrepreneurs utilize every day to WIN in business.
You will find out how to build even more leads, sales & streams of income! You will leave with great concepts on how to become an inspiring leader, utilize great systems and become 100% laser focused!
In addition, you will meet some amazing local leaders and learn processes to connect with others on a deeper level to create the space to do even more business. Perfect for existing companies, start-ups, independent agents & executives in transition.
We are also looking to host a 2.5 day small business accelerator summit called Rainmaker in Q2 2020.

Daniel Meyer heads Sonic Analytics, an analytics firm with offices in Manila, the San Francisco Bay Area and as of February 2019, Ocala, FL. With over 20 years in Big Data, Dan is one of the most sought-after public speakers in Asia and offers big data coaching and analytics training seminars on both sides of the Pacific. Dan has also recently joined the Powerteam International family as a small business analytics resource speaker.
Sonic Analytics(www.sonicanalytics.com) brings big data analytics solutions like business intelligence, business dashboards and data storytelling to small and medium sized organizations looking to enhance their data-driven decision-making capabilities. We also advocate the use of analytics for civic responsibility through training, consulting and education.
As citizens of this great democracy, we need to look at the data (analytics), plan a course of action (strategy) and share our data-driven viewpoints (presentation). This approach to a data savvy work force starts in school. So, we started an internship program to empower our youth to use Analytics, plan Strategy and Present their insights… ASP!
When not training current and future analysts, you can find Dan championing the use of analytics to empower data-driven citizenship by volunteering his expertise with schools and non-profits dedicated to evidence-based social progress like Saint Leo University’s Women in STEAM 2020 Conference.
