The Passion To Write
Where does the passion to write come from?
For me, writing helps me channel my thoughts and emotions. Expression.
Writing also helps moves my dreams a few steps closer to actions. Focus.
Another reason behind my passion to write is to educate and empower by sharing my knowledge and wisdom. Legacy.
I’m sure it’s different for everyone who writes, but expression, focus and legacy all drive me.

When I think about how I share my writing. It’s very public. I feel productive, useful and fulfilling purpose every time I publish.
But here is the odd part for me. I really don’t get as much joy out of reading comments as I do when I publish.
Even though I share everything, it never bothers me if I don’t get views or comments. It’s the passion to write that makes it worthwhile for me.
Still, I know the importance of getting reads and like and comments and shares. So when I do write, it’s often for an audience in mind.
I do imagine someone reading my work and being educated, empowered or inspired. And I do appreciate it greatly when I get positive remarks.
So most of what I write is for a college student, a young analytics professional, a data science newbie or a small business owner ready to get A.I. ready.
Every time I write, it’s me writing to express myself, to focus my business-mind and to build a legacy. One that impacts readers and moves them forward.
That’s why I write.
